WE LOVE BOOKS! WE LOVE READING!! WE LOVE PIZZA!!!!

At the start of the year our class set a goal to read 1000 before December and…. now we’ve read well over 1100 books!!! Well done 3/4s!!!

As a reward we had a pizza party to celebrate our ACHIEVEMENT and we’ve set a new goal… to read 10,000 books before December! Way to go class!! Let’s do this!!

Last week our class presented our learning since we started school this year. We sang and danced to a song Umbrella by Rihanna and Jay-Z that shows SEL and we talked about our first week of swimming, our goals for our Bright Future and demonstrated Where we are in Australia for our Geography Inquiry Topic. Well Done 3/4 Murphy! So proud of you all for your terrific assembly! 🙂 Stay tuned for a video of our assembly performance!

On Tuesday our class had a Pizza Party to celebrate achieving our reading to read 1000 books by December! And we’ve already read more than 1100 and it’s only the beginning of Term 2! the pizza was delicious… We ate 10 boxes of the yummy pizza!! Super star reading 3/4M! I’m so proud of you!

We also have been learning about writing awesome persuasive pieces and we decided to write our principal a persuasive letter to allow our class have a pyjama day!! It was an epic day!!

Thanks to our special helpers Ms Dawn and Mr Hall for helping to make our day even better! 😊

Welcome back to school 3/4M of 2016. I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and summer holiday. We have an exciting and busy term ahead of us. This year I hope we are able to ‘Lego‘ our Fears and set some great goals that we can achieve and build on for this year. What goals do you have? What are your hopes for the year?

At the beginning of our year we set a goal to read 1000 books before the end of the year and this week we already reached our goal and we currently have read 1081 books! We are so pleased with our achievement that we are celebrating by having a pizza party next week!

AMAZING EFFORT and now…our goal is to try and read 10,000 books by December,… some of our Mathematical wizards figured out that with 27 students in our class  means we need to read approximately 12 books a week until the end of December!   Our response…
